Fit Tips on the go...

3500 calories = 1pound of Body Fat!! Wow

So…in order for you to lose 1 pound of body fat, you need to find a way to eliminate or burn 3500 calories from your body. Losing 1-2 pounds per week is what you want. You are more likely to keep the weight off if you lose it slowly!

  1. Try eating 6 small meals per day at 300 calories per meal.
  2. Stay away from “starchy carbohydrates” at diner time. Eat those for lunch. (Examples: Pasta, Rice, Bread, Potatoes)
  3. Exercise or do cardio at least 1 hour, 3 days per week.

Walking or jogging 1mile burns aprox 100 calories

Try this…walk or jog 2 miles 3 days per week. That’s 600 calories! On average it only takes 20 minutes to walk a mile or 10 minutes to jog. Fit this into your lunch hour and you will still have time for a sandwich!

Good Luck and “Have a nice Day”
